These photos depict the “Crown Jewels” of Hungary – The Crown of St. Stephen. They are stunning for their religious content. As you’ll note the crown is decorated with Eastern Orthodox (Byzantine style) icons of Christ the “PantoKrator” (Ruler over all), the apostles and Archangel in addition to a variety of other Christian symbols of predominantly Eastern origin.
