The Fall meeting of Central Classis will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2008 (All Saints’ Day) at the First Hungarian Reformed Church of Homestead. Registration will begin at 9:30 AM, with the opening worship to take place at 10:00. All effort will be made to conduct a concise meeting, while leaving adequate time for all important discussion. It is anticipated that the meeting will conclude by 2:00 PM.

Focus of the Fall meeting will be the theme: “Evangelism and Worship”. Synod Committee Chairperson, the Rev. Dr. Joseph Posta, will make a presentation and then lead discussion on this topic. Central Classis will continue work on this theme in the months ahead and will be prepared to report at next May’s Annual Synod meeting.

Central Classis thanks the Homestead congregation for offering its hospitality in hosting the meeting and providing lunch for the participants. Please email or telephone me with the numbers of folks who plan to attend from each congregation. Sister congregations, who are not members of Central Classis, are also invited to attend. Reservations should be made by Friday, October 24th.

We thank God for the opportunity and privilege to meet. We ask Him to bless our meeting, as Central Classis congregations seek to build His Church.
