District Conference of Presbyters and Church Workers August 6th
The 68th Annual Church Workers and Presbyters Conference will be held at the First Hungarian Reformed Church, Walton Hills Ohio, 14530 Alexander Road on Saturday, August 9th, 2008. All members of the consistory, Church Workers, Youth, Sunday School Teachers and Advisors, guests and their families are cordially invited.
The topic will be “Do you know why we are called Reformed”? The speakers will be the officers of the Conference who will start with the history and the real meaning of why we are called ” Reformed.”
A full afternoon of worship, presentation, information and fellowship has been planned. We would like to see a cross section of ages and genders represented, especially the youth.
If you have materials on the topic please make 12 copies to distribute to the Pastors or Chief Elders of each church. Also please share with us what is happening at your church update with those attending the conference.
We will begin with a lunch at 12 O’clock noon, followed by a church service at 1:15 PM, speakers at 2:15 PM, break, followed with the business meeting at 4:00 PM. cost of the luncheon is $7.00 per person and no cost for the conference except your attendance. Please call the Church office with your reservation and how many are joining you from your church at 440-786-7272 no later than Wednesday August 6th 2008.
