62nd Annual Conference of the American Hungarian Reformed Presbyter’s Association – Sunday, Aug. 31 – Mon. Sept. 1
Dear Christian Brothers and Sisters:
The 62nd. Annual Conference of The American Hungarian Reformed Presbyter’s Association will be held at the Bethlen Communities Conference Room in Ligonier, Pennsylvania on Sunday, August 31st. and Monday, September 1st. All members of the Consistory, Presbyter or Church Council, their families and guests are cordially invited to attend.
Our guest speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Maria Lallouet of the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church of Buffalo New York. She will speak on “Spiritual Gifts and How Our Congregations Can Turn Around Using the God Given Spiritual Gifts.” This will follow very nicely last year’s topic of “The Future God Provides.” The Holy Bible and the Purpose Driven Church.” The Ministerial Association is planning to join us.
A tentative agenda will be mailed at the beginning of August. Also enclosed will be a list of motels in the Ligonier area. You can make your reservations, after the 1st. of August for the RAMADA INN, through the Bethlen Communities. The contact person will be Rev. Imre A. Bertalan at 724-238-2235.
I am looking forward to seeing representatives from all of the various churches at this year’s conference. Please remember to pay your assessment, to the Treasure in advance or at the meeting.
Wishing each of you a safe and Happy Summer.
If you have any questions, please call me at 724-285-8851 or email me at warajr @ embarqmail.com

Note: The American Hungarian Minsiter’s Association voted last September that our pastors participate in the Presbyter’s Association meeting this year. That action was in response to the Presbyetr’s desire for a joint meeting.
Thus, it is an important reminder for the pastors because we need to be away from our pulpits and have the church members either hold a “Layman’s Sunday” or the pastor could invite a guest minister to conduct the service.
Best regards,
Louis Medgyesi – pastor
Bishop Emeritus
